Brian Jenney helps families and individuals with elder law and special needs issues. For family members with more immediate elder care issues, Mr. Jenney can assist with guardianships and conservatorships of ailing family members.
Brian has been recognized as one of the State of Michigan’s outstanding young lawyers in the area of Estate Planning & Probate Law in 2008-2010 and 2012-2013 with a “Rising Star” designation by Michigan Super Lawyers magazine. He was also selected for inclusion in the 2011 issue of Michigan Super Lawyers magazine featuring the top 5% of attorneys in Michigan in the practice area of Elder Law. Brian has also been selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America© 2018 in the field of Elder Law (Copyright 2017 by Woodward/White, Inc., of SC). He has been included in the Best Lawyers listing since 2010.
He was awarded a Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University and received a Juris Doctor from the Wayne State University Law School. He also holds a Certificate of Completion in the areas of probate and estate planning issued by the Institute of Continuing Legal Education (ICLE) and the Probate & Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan.
Brian is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Oakland County Bar Association, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and member/co-founder of the Brother Rice Warrior Bar Association. Brian is married to a physician and is the proud father of two sets of twins.
