GM Retiree Health Care Plan

IRS 2019 HSA Limits Increase

Single: $3,500 (Increase of $50)

Two-Party: $7,000 (Increase of $100)

Family: $7,000 (Increase of $100)

If you are at least age 55 during 2019 and not enrolled in Medicare, you have the opportunity to contribute an additional pre-tax catch-up contribution of $1,000 to your HSA.

Group Variable Universal Life (GVUL)

GVUL, through MetLife, has been provided to salaried employees/retirees since 2010. Life insurance rates are subject to annual review and are adjusted based on claims experience, in January 2018, due to unfavorable claims experience, there will be 5% increase to Optional Life Insurance and Dependent Spouse and Child Life Insurance rates.
