Senior Investment Analyst

Our experienced, dedicated advisory team handles over $700 million combined in advisory and brokerage assets for select families, specializing in corporate executives and inheritances. Client services include holistic financial plans, portfolio management, wealth transfer planning, risk management, estate planning and tax planning. We clear through LPL Financial for brokerage business and operate advisory business under LPL Financial’s corporate RIA.

We are looking for a motivated, professional, and energetic individual with experience in investment research within wealth management to fill the role of Senior Investment Analyst within our firm.

As a Senior Investment Analyst, you will be an integral member of our unified team, a value to our clients and significantly contribute to the overall success of our organization.

Job Summary

Performs research, provides analysis, identifies security selection, presents recommendations and oversees trading on the following: third party managers, advisory service products and annuity products. Maintains investment committee meeting log, advisor/client reporting and suitability guidelines.


  • Consolidate general macroeconomic research from various sources for the team on a weekly basis
    • HFG heavily relies on LPL Research but also considers research conducted by JPMorgan, First Trust, and our various other investment partners*.
  • Assist advisors in developing and delivering investment proposals to current and prospective high net worth clients
  • Research for HFG Advisory Strategies including but not limited to monitor LPL trade logs, global portfolio strategy, and blog, investment committee prep and notes, and document updated process
  • Separately Managed Account Due Diligence
  • Annuity due diligence and maintenance of underlying indexes and subaccounts
  • REIT and other non-traded product due diligence
  • Limited individual stock research, mainly focused on the stocks of companies of HFG executive clients
  • Trades for brokerage and advisory accounts

Desirable Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field
  • Flexible, open-minded team player with excellent organizational and communication skills
  • 3+ years of prior experience working in private wealth management / investment research
  • Knowledge of industry leaders’ investment and annuity products
  • FINRA Series 7, 6, 63, (and 65 if part of a Registered Investment Advisor), Life and Health license
  • The CFA designation is preferred

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary ranges from $85,000-110,000, dependent on experience level
  • Additional annual bonus potential based on meeting agreed upon goals
